Our next meeting will be September 16th at our host facility @ Woodcraft.

I Working with Mark James now to see if his schedule still allows for him to bring the IAP pen collection to display for us to drool over.

As always any volunteers or Ideas for demos would be appreciated.

I have spoken with Mark James and he will be bringing the IAP pen collection to the September meeting. Mark will display/discuss the IAP Collection and has also graciously volunteered to do a demo on constructing his Chevron Blanks.

Mark also said that whenever the IAP Collection is displayed at Chapter Meetings, the Chapter has the option of having an in-house contest of their own design and donating a pen to be added to the Collection. This IS NOT a requirement - simply an option. This can also be done after the collection is displayed (i.e., the Chapter can add a pen at a later date if it so chooses.)

So with that being said, Bring one of your best works and we will have a vote by those attending to add a pen to the collection representing the Georgia Chapter

Sounds like fun and great fellowship. My niece and Goddaughter is getting married. Sorry to miss the meeting.
 
Hello All,

Well its that time. Mark will be here on Saturday with the IAP collection and doing an awesome demo. Unfortunately, one of my best friends passed away yesterday and I will be at his funeral Saturday. Warren has graciously stepped in to be the master of clowns for the meeting. So go easy on him. Ya'll please take some pictures and post back on this thread. Warren and Mark will also be going over how we get a chapter pen into the collection. Should be an awesome meeting. See everyone in December.

Great meeting, good to see new faces and not new faces as well! Missed you folks that couldn't make it. Seeing and holding these pens was an absolute pleasure.
