Here's what I came up with help in gluing the left and right herringbone sections together. The glue up's on these require absolute perfection if you want to eliminate gaps. You cannot have any glue residue anywhere. That's why I went with thin CA for the initial glue up's. When I stack the sections, I use Titebond Translucent. The jig has two sections because I thought I needed that figuring out the vaneer. I quickly realized all the squares need to be the same thickness. I only need one end. I drilled a hole part way in the bottom that sits over a workbench dog, makes it easier to hold the parts in there when gluing. I like my vaneer all in 1 side as it's easy to spot mistakes. I would have thought there was only one way to orient the veneered squares. Turns out there are at least 2 that work.

Very interesting Like the video. As I mentioned to you alot of this will become much clearer to me when I start making them. But I like the jig. Another from the Jig Master.

The jig is very simple yet pretty effective. Can't think of anything that I would change on it, yet that is.
