For the first and third, I think I recognize Rosewood ? The lighter wood, I know what it is but have not pulled out the word yet, just drawing a blank. It looks a little like
antler but I don't think it is.

It is not a tutorial per-se it is the segmenting with wood and aluminum thread in this forum. It won't show you everything that I do but it shows you all of the cuts that I make. You will need to experiment to get the rest.

The lighter wood is curly maple. It's hard to see the curl in the images though and it isn't the best curl I have see that is for sure.
