One of the members here Ed Davidson (YoYo Spin) makes these and sells them.
I believe they are sold through Arizona Sillhouette. As far as I know Ed has not made the technique known for how to make them and I cannot fault him for that since he sells them.

I am new to making wine stoppers and would like to learn how to cast 3-D wine stoppers with the ceramic rose enclosed.

I would like to know also but I understand why Ed plays that close to the vest.

There is another forum where one of the members does a similar casting, embedding objects. I ask him several questions and he gladly answered. I still haven't gotten to the point of trying it yet.

It was sawmill creek, I couldn't remember if I could post the link or not. Do a search and you should find some stuff, Ed posts there too. I believe it was Glen Hodges that had some really nice stuff that answered my questions.

I don't mean to upset anyone here but what ever happened to the pioneer spirit?

Has everyone just given up on trying to figure things out anymore?

Have ya'll thought about how Ed makes such nice stoppers? I'll wager it took several gallons of resin and many, many tries before finally hitting on a proven formula/process and I doubt there was anyone around telling him how much hardner to use, how to time the curing, when to place the rose, etc.

If you want to make nice stoppers like Ed, why not do what he did... practice... practice...practice!
