Entry #1
Title of Your Entry: First Pen!
Description: This is a Berea hardwoods Olmsted kit wrapped in Electric Yellow Mesh AA. Titus chose the blank from my stash. He cut, drilled and glued the tubes. I rounded the edges and he turned down to size, sanded, polished and pressed it all together. Not exactly the easiest of materials for you first pen!
Entry #2
Title of Your Entry: The Midas Touch
Description: This pen was hand turned by me using a Majestic Squire Gold TN & Chrome Ballpoint Twist Pen kit paired with a TruStone Black & Gold Matrix pen blank. I had to drill this blank very slowly and carefully in order to prevent cracking. After turning the blank down to size I dry sanded from 150 to 600 grit, then wet sanded using micro-mesh pads from 1500 - 12000 grit.
