We have a Total Of 16 Entries in the First Year of the Pretty Resin Pen Contest: Great participation by the IAP Members and 16 great pens!

This will be first of two (2) rounds of voting, so PICK THREE (3) of your favorites in this round to advance them to the next round of voting.

There will Three (3) winners in the final round: Champion for most votes overall, Best Self-Cast Blank for most votes on a self cast and Best Purchased Blank for most votes on a purchased blank.

Whether a pen is made with a Self-Cast or Purchased Blank will not be revealed until after voting is complete!

Right now we have a 3 way tie between 2 pens with blanks cast by the Penturners and a purchased blank to get into the final!

Self-Cast Blanks are both have a spot in the final and will be eliminated.

Why is this news worthy? Purchased blanks were entered 3 to 1 versus the self-cast, so a strong showing by those making their own blanks.

Which is self-cast and which are purchased? VOTE for your choices now!

Pretty Resin Pen Contest Fun Facts:
25% of our entries are self cast
75% percent are purchased BUT 46% of the purchased blanks we bought from other IAP members, not "Big Name" Re-sellers.

If you count Exotic Blanks as a Member and not a "Big Name" re-seller (They can go either way) over half of all entries were bought within our own membership
and 69% (counting self cast) of them came from within our ranks!

Hmnnn, no straight itsy bitsy pieces. Gotta love a challenge. :wink:
