I bought a green 1963 dodge dart in 1975 for $250.00. It had a dented drivers rear quarter but it had a push button gear shift and a slant six engine that was awesome. I drove it another 4 years until college was over and junked it. Damn, I loved that car.

Ah, a great car!!! I bought a 1965 Dodge Dart (mine was called Turquoise I think---but was kind of bluish green). Purchased mine new for $2,500. Went and sold it when I got married my last year of college. They'd discontinued the pushbuttons by 65 though. Mine had a 273 V-8 with automatic---I put pipes out the side and it could move pretty good.

You know, I never have been, and never will be a Dodge fan (nor ower), but man, I tell you that car just screams "American Beauty".

You say you "junked" it-- that car doesn't look anything close to what I'd call "junk" (well, other than the "Dodge" lettering[)] OK just kidding). Did you wreck it?

Oh, and I love the hubs. Very classy.

I took driver's ed in 1975, in either an Al Bundy Dart or the twin Plymouth, whatever that was. Of course, this means nothing to anyone.... [:p]

I had a 66 and a 67 that I drove a total of 12 years. I pail $200 for the 66 and moved to Florida had a finder bender and got $350. Fixed it for $100 and drove it a few more years and sold it for $350. Great cars

I turned a wrench for years and it all started when you put the key in upside down on those cars and it never got better from there for Dodge.
I am just poking fun, that car somehow reminds me of the road trip car in animal house.

My sister had a Dodge Dart when I was a teenager. I was riding in the passenger seat one, fine day, when we came upon a traffic accident. She started rubber-necking as we passed, and then it happened: she plowed into a parked car! Back in the day we didn't wear seatbelts, so of course I bounced my melon off of the dashboard. Boy was I glad it was padded!![B)]
