    Newbie segmenting questions

Hello, Looking forward to making segmented blanks. Will a small bandsaw do? I don't have enough space for a tablesaw. If so, which blade is recommended? Secondly, is there a guide to making some interesting segmented patterns? I bought several books on the subject but they discuss mainly...

    First segmented pen finished!

It took to tries but I got it done. I ended up using the white gorilla glue and the blank held together quite well. I am happy with it for it being my first one. I want to try adding metal in between the segments next time. Any tips on that would be much appreciated!

    Multiple angle cutting jig

Chose to post in Segmenting forum as I use this jig for cutting blanks for my segmentation efforts. As pictured I have the jig set up on my small bandsaw, however I will use it on my table saw as well. Essentially a sliding sled, I've attached an adjustable angle fence for setting various...

Using a Router table to make blanks

All, I recently bought (actually got for free) a router and routing table. Very cool item...but I have some questions. If you don't route for pen blanks or know about routing wood, you might want to skip... 1). I used a rabbiting bit to try to take even rabbits out of my blank. Then...
