pendants

I have several pendants which I'm in the process of finishing by dipping them in polyeurethane. I was wondering if anyone knew how many coats should be applied in order to properly protect the pendant? (Currently on coat 3). Also is poly enough for something that will be handled a lot...

My wife saw pendants others were making on her and asked me nicely to do something besides pens. So of course I obliged. She did the beadwork which really completes these.

Hello all!! These are my first trys at pendant making.I saw the backer plate that richard sells on here and I purchased one.I will tell you it is well worth the money.I was hoping to get some of your opinions as to if I am on the right track or not. Thanks!
