I have several pendants which I'm in the process of finishing by dipping them in polyeurethane. I was wondering if anyone knew how many coats should be applied in order to properly protect the pendant? (Currently on coat 3).
Also is poly enough for something that will be handled a lot...
Here are a couple more of our recent pendants.
Lauren has been having a good time with the beads, crystals and wirework to complement the wood.
I finally used up the last of our padauk and zebrawood... have some other interesting wood blanks to explore for our next round.
More pendant...
My wife saw pendants others were making on her and asked me nicely to do something besides pens. So of course I obliged. She did the beadwork which really completes these.
Getting ready to pour some resin to make a range of pendant blanks to complement the pen blanks we have already . Thought I'd try turning some pre-production blanks this weekend to check on the colour combinations , what do you think ?
