I inherited a duffel bag of dyes my Dad used to dye feathers for fly tying. Does any one know what type of dye i have (The dye is labeled to color only) and if i can dye wood with them? Thank you. Doug

I'm going to try dyeing wood a few different colors, cutting them into thin strips then glue them in alternate colors. What wood accepts dyes the best? Birch???? Also, should I add wood hardener to the dye before I turn on the vaccuum? Thanks for any and all advice. Kevin

I tried a Wall Street II Gold pen with curly maple dyed blue, and a friction polish finish. for now on I will be using CA, but for this guy will the dye Fade out? how long will it take?
