    Gluing cigar wrappers to brass tubes, etc

    Hi all. I'm looking to make pens using real cigar wrappers, using cigar leaves I'll glue to tubes, cast in alumilite clear, then turn. What type of glue would you recommend for this? I saw a video where it looked like the person was using a white (elmers type) glue. I think CA would be to messy.

    I'm making double-closed ended pens that look like cigars with cigar bands. I have a couple of questions for those of you who've nailed this down.... 1. I'm doing my normal CA finish to get a durable finish on the burled wood. I guess I could hit it with 400 sand paper dry and see if that's...
