Center Drilling Jig 1

I use this jig to hold a rounded pen blank still on a drill press while identifying the center.
A laser finder is useful but not necessary. Additional hardware (a thin rivet or similar) is necessary for the arm to pivot. See additional information below for pictures and an expanded explanation of concept.
