I went looking for pen kits made in the USA and found McKenzie Penworks. I ordered 2 of his stainless steel pen kits and turned them this morning. I'm so impressed.
I turned one from Thuya Burl and one from Cocobolo because I thought highly figured wood would work well with the stainless steel kits. I was right. These are precision kits. Parts are well made. Instructions are clear and concise. Schmidt click mechanism securely screws into the rear cap and works beautifully. This is my new favorite click pen.
