Amazing Grace Pen in Box Elder

I have made this popular pen many times. Usually, I use olive wood or sim stone blanks but today, I tried something different. I had some left-overs from a box elder bowl blank that was too good to throw away. There were some challenges with the wood but I sort of stabilized it with thin CA just before I made the final cut down to the bushings. Sanding, then CA finish went well. What do you think?

Great job, love that kit. I've made several in olive as well. Have one waiting to be turned in cocobolo.
