Never heard of it but beautiful. Like the way the rings appear to carry all of the way around, vs curl which can change chatoyance on some sides.

Thanks all! I've been eyeing ringed mulga and myall for a bit and finally got some of each (with a few pieces of ancient redgum and one belah to boot)!

Wow, that's beautiful wood! I had never seen or heard of Mulga, either. It seems there is also a Black Mulga.
For anyone interested, this is some of what I found. These pictures make me think there is quite a variation in the color of it. I wouldn't have expected it to be an evergreen.
