I recently made this ring box using some moose antler that I had been saving for a number of years. Moose antler
turns easily although the smell is rather pungent (wear a safety mask) to avoid inhaling toxic dust. Also turned a ring
using same antler material. Got fortunate that I managed to capture some of the darker inclusion from the antler. Hope

It does create a pungent odor. I let the laser engrave the moose image and I vacated the shop for 20 minutes or so. Left
the engraved turned box outside and everything is ok.
 
I've made numerous pens using antler. But never seen a box made out of the antler. Very unique idea. That box & ring looks great! That laser engraved moose head on top just sets that antler box off. Great job!
