Temps here have come down enough that my garage is bearable again. I present my third and fourth kitless turnings. The wild colored one is for my 6yo daughter who chose the color combo and the other is for a friend. Getting a lot better at the finishing process.

Both are nice. Your daughter had good taste. Unusual that a 6 yo would be interested in a fountain pen.

She isn't quite ready for it but all 3 of my girls got really excited at all the colorful blanks, it think they like the colors more than the actual pen part lol.

I actually didn't polish the inside at all, just drilled. There's a bit of chipping not visible in the photo but I got some 60deg tip bits in today to see if that will help.

Polishing the inside i hear is a PITA. It's why I ask.
