The nib on the first one almost screams "fill me, fill me".

Are three and four carpenters pencils?

Thank you, hahaha, I didn't realize that one was retracted and the other not. All are pen(PSI) and fountain(McKenzie),but I also have some mechanical pencils that look almost the same as the last picture because they are also Duraclick from PSI.
I think I should add one more picture.

They are all beautiful, but I love the random patterns on the first one and the duraclicks.

Thanks! I also prefer those because they are more abstract, and the mix is more complex. They are indeed much more difficult to make in every aspect, starting with selecting the colors and creating those patterns. When turning, you have to be extremely careful and precise. When I work with segmented pieces, I use a skew chisel with very delicate passes because sanding can create a mess, as some colors tend to stain the others.
