Our local Kiwanis club is doing an auction for a fundraiser, so I made a couple of pens to toss in. Nothing fancy, just an acrylic blank from Rockler and a piece nice teak salvaged from a broken stool.
Both are very nice. I'm leaning toward the teak for the color and grain. The acrylic is eye-catching.
I did the same for a festival this Saturday but neglected to take photos- acrylic and cocobolo wood.
Slimline kits offer a ton of possibilities. Planning ahead, I just looked at Don Ward's book, Modifying Slimline Pens. I believe that is the correct title. Along with the book, one is only limited to one's imagination.
