A while ago I found a piece of bamboo and thought that I should use it as a cap for a unique piece Fountain pen.
Thee cap as well the Ebonite barrel and section lacquered in "Aka Tame Nuri". Red "shû" underlayers covered by transparent black "kuro" urushi just to let the red layers shine through. "Aka" refers to the red lacquer, Tame refers to the final lacquer that let the underlayer show through
