This is the 2nd of 4 blanks that @JohnU put together for me. Used on my favorite kit, being a diamond knurl from Exotic Blanks. I will say that I rather dislike the Ti Gold finish on the kit as it's to brassy and far less gold like to me. However, out of all the plating varieties I've tried, this is the only one I don't care for.

I think the blank pairs very nicely with the kit finish as the gears are about the same color.
It is a very attractive pen.

I think Dave summed it up best. The kit, though it does look more brass looking goes well with the watch parts because of the close color resemblance and there is enough color that matches the kit within the blank material. matching kits to blank is always a step in making a cool looking pen. I think this works well. I too am not really a fan of the kit in general because of the nib section but that is a matter of choice. Thanks for showing.

That a gorgeous pen. I can see what you mean by it being too brassy, but I agree with others that I think it goes well with this pen.

I'm not a yellow gold fan either, except for accents but the gears and dial definitely work well with the plating. I think you did great job!
