Good morning,
Here are a few pens that I made a couple of days ago, had the blanks for a while but the lathe was not accessible in the shop. A huge shout out to Michelle Bagley at Drop Anchor Creations, for the blanks, they were a custom size just for these pens and she had no problems creating them for me. They are all Liberty click pens from, McKenzie Penworks, that were customized to accept Uni-Ball Signo gel ink cartridges. This customization included designing longer blanks, re-drilling the nib section to accept the different diameter refills, changing the springs, and modifying the plunger on the click mechanism. One of them is for my wife who, after 20 years of nursing, just completed her RN to BSN program, one is for a friend who just became and RN, and the last one was just for me. My pen is just like a little billboard that demonstrates what can be accomplished on a label cast pen, including working QR codes, which were a pain in the butt to get working. Sorry for the less than stellar photography, I am work and using a cell phone.
Thanks for looking
