Gold resin Inlay. Although, this brand seems to turn more orange-ish
Resin used due to bullet damage. From about 40 years ago.

Thank you. This tree was about 70-80 years old when it fell over in a storm on a farm. As we processed the tree we came across many a nail and bullets. So far I think we are at about 20 bullets. The best we can determine is when the tree was about 30-40 years old someone decided to shoot at the tree. Often finding bullets within a 4-5" grouping. The one here did quite the damage and I think it was a higher caliber than the others we encountered.
