I made this one from Indonesian rosewood. I sure looks like cocobolo. Sourced directly from Indonesia.

I used to make the Artist's sketch pencil with two hex parts and a tenon. This kit shows more uninterrupted wood and customers like the clip. Different drill bit and bushings!!!

That really is beautiful wood. I agree that the uninterrupted single barrel looks nicer.

Having not seen this type of rosewood before, I googled it. Some of the guitars made from this wood are incredibly beautiful! $5,000!? Don't let Pete Townsend get ahold of those.
