I experimented with an idea of a pocket pen that can be individually extended. The whole is made from 3 parts, cap, barrel, section and a inner barrel that can be pulled respectively screwd out of the outer barrel. Can be used with cartridges as well as a eye-dropper. Closed length 110 mm. Extended barrel with nib 120 mm, Cap 17 x 50 mm, Barrel 60 x 17 mm. Material Ebonite and Urushi Lacquer

Best,

Martin

Really great work. I've been meaning to getting round to trying a similar thing, at least a pocket pen design. Probably need to make myself some custom mandrels but have been too lazy to do so recently. Also love the way you have done the finish, that color of urushi is possibly my favourite. Been meaning to pick up some bengal red or something similar. Your bamboo pens are also wonderful inspiration. Thanks for sharing! :)
