This one is very hard to photograph. This is a Snow White Rhino blank and the inlaid center band and matching cap is opal, color of the opal is Bermuda. This is the last of the starter set I bought. I find them fun to do because of the extra steps to customize them. Comments and critiques welcomed.

Very nice! I love the bright color of the Opal with the shimmering white blank! Endless accent color combinations with that blank.

I like it, Ken.
I have one of those kits and have been watching the excellent videos from John @JohnU before venturing into replacing finials and centre bands. That is all new to me. The Band-it pens that you and John have been posting have been top notch and something to aspire to.

I like it!! Nice work. I'll be ordering a few kits as well. I've been wanting to try accenting the rollerballs but never took the step. Since John's videos made it look so easy I thought I'd go ahead and jump in. Thanks for sharing.

I appreciate the fact that Ed has made extra canterbands available. I bought some extras so if I totally screwed one up, I could continue on. PS, I did have to use one of them.

Very Cool. I love you choice of colors. It made a very attractive pen. Ok, so I need to put the Band-It on my wish list. I'm a big fan of customized pens, even if it is just replacing the stock cabochon. Sweet pen! - Dave

You had to use an extra part!! I thought I was the only one that messed things up. As mentioned before you hard work payed off.

FYI, I mis named the pen blank. It is actually called snowball.
I think only the 7 dwarfs would have noticed that it wasn't Snow White. I have two of those blanks, and a couple called "White Lightning" that look similar (in their blank form anyway), but I haven't turned anything with either one of them yet. It's great to see how they should look on a finished pen. Am I correct in assuming that you painted the tube or inside of the blank white before gluing the tubes in? - Dave
