These are a couple projects I recently completed. For a few years now I've wanted to cast some dried dandelions but usually my cat finds them in the drying stage before I get them in resin. This year I managed to get one cast. I reduced the stem end and epoxied it to some spectraply. It turned out better than I expected, even though the top isn't perfectly round.
The second is a peppermill that Mark Dreyer turned. We were experimenting with a new finish and I wanted to see how it would look aged and distressed. My wife's friend loves sunflowers so my paint job came in handy for her gift. It was nice to do something other than pens for a bit.
Thanks for looking!
