I had a birthday today, and my mother gave me a carbide tip chisel, with four interchangeable tips. Im not probably going to use them on classic wood turning,as I have good HSS tools and I like cuting more than scraping
But I wanted to test it, where HSS tools failed before...and it worked, cut the groove in the surgical steel ring easily. The rest was just some CA and a few stars from decorative materials set I used in the past. Not bad, for a test)
