That is a gorgeous blank. I really like the pinkish bands that run through the grain.

PS I have a couple of your locust tree blanks on my desk that I haven't turned yet. It looks really nice against the chrome, but I've been thinking an antique copper kit would go good with them too.

I love the kit. I've made eight of them so far. I love the locust tree burl, and think it looks great with any kit finish.

It's easy to assemble. I put thread lock on it so the tip doesn't unscrew when you're turning it counter clockwise.
