Here is another from Jake Thompson's "Jake's Blank Club". This one was 1/2the original blank. It was clear resin with a bunch of scrap blank cut offs. Really cool blank.
I painted the inside of the blank after drilling and it looks like either the paint was too cold, or the paint and 5-minute epoxy didn't lie each other. At first, I was very disappointed, as we are our own worst critics. However, my Wife loves it and said it looks loke old fashioned Candy, maybe taffy or such. It is growing on me.
