I really like this one, it's a new shape for me and the section and finial are black Alumilite that I think are a nice complement to the blank. This blank appears to have very subtle coloration until the light hits it, I think I spy some color shifting happening as well.

I like the shape and the material. Show us a pic of it uncapped please.
Is the finial threaded on or glued (epoxy or CA)?

Thank you. Not flattering lighting, shop led as it's dark outside, but here's a pic with cap off.

Finial is screwed on only.

Thanks for the additional photo. The black of the section and finial goes nicely with the blank.
Sorry for all the questions. Do you use your section tap/die (M10x1 ~ish) for the finial as well?

In the last 6 months I added kitless pen making to my obsession with pens!! I have had success with making nice pens- nothing groundbreaking but learning along the way. The biggest thing I have taken away from this is so many things to " figure out" along the way and being adaptable…. I love this about kitless pens. I am researching and getting ready to complicate things by adding denials, clips, bands etc. so I am interested in any tips or traps or tricks that people having encountered and " figured out" already.

My biggest problem is that I find it very hard to sell my pens because I love them so much, I price my Etsy ads high and sell very few but that's ok as my pen collection expands!!!

Have a great day and thanks for sharing your experiences too…

The biggest thing is to experiment, read all that you can find, watch You Tubes etc.
