Jazz Limba

This is a Jazz bolt action pen from Crooked Mill in gunmetal. I'm a big fan of the Jazz pens, for some reason. I've made several. The wood is black limba, also from Crooked Mill. The finish is Pens Plus.

You have to screw the bolt in when you assemble the pen. I haven't had problems with any of them. I think it's the way the threads are shaped.

That is a nice looking kit, simple and a nice barrel length for showing off a good looking blank. The grain on this piece of wood gives it a nice rustic look.

That's an interesting kit. New for me.

Black Limba is a fun wood and is great for instrument making, also.

Very nice combination of wood and pen kit! The jazz pen kit was the first pen i made, its a very nice pen with a bulletproof mechanism. A bit heavy but its ok.
