Greetings from Nebraska.

I just finished up a PSI Premium Designer NT modified to eliminate the stock center band. The blank is a piece of Cocobolo that was imported from Costa Rica. It has Gold plating and I finished it with my standard CA regimen. Although it only comes in Gold, I prefer the Premium Designer kit over the standard kits because it has 8mm tubes and uses Parker style refills.

The no-centerband design was inspired by Lee (PenCasso) and some Bethlehem Olive Wood pens he showed recently. Mike (MRDucks2) also provided some very helpful process options. Thanks Lee and Mike.

Overall I think it turned out pretty good -- I just might have to make a few more using this design.

Regards,
Dave

This wood looks amazing with this kit. Beautiful blank, and as always impeccable craftsmanship.

Another gorgeous cocobolo blank.

Love the looks of this kit sans center band.

Well done, Dave.

good grief that's just downright GORGEOUS. Your grain match is more than on point too. Great job
