I made one of these for my wife who due to a mastectomy and losing a few lymph nodes has been told she should avoid being stuck by pins. It is used to help push a project through the sewing machine while keeping her fingers away from the machine needle and the pins. My mother-in-law liked it so I made one for her then made a few more. So, these are one oak, 3 cherry and 3 walnut. The oak was the first I made.
