Another rabbit hole I fear. I've always wanted to give a polymer clay pen a try. Looked at some mokume gane videos and here's the result. Took a couple of try's before I got the hang of it, there will definitely more in my future.

Back 'in the day' I tried polymer clay for about 3 1/2 weeks 🤣🤣🤣. I learned A LOT - Namely that those that do it well are true artists, and the learning curve was too great for me (yes, I could have learned, but buying the 5-10 blanks I wanted was too easy). Your efforts are way better than mine. I have a great deal of respect for those that excel in this medium. I have turned 5-6 PC pens 8-9 years ago from others, for family and they are still beautiful. Kudos to you!

The pictures show little white spots, those are actually iridescent glitter that was embedded in the white clay, didn't translate well in the photos.

Nice job with the pen. This is one field I will leave alone and leave to the pros. Way too many other things I can be doing than learning another new medium. There are some truely great artisans in this field and marvel at their work. Never did turn a blank of clay but am surely feel it is possible someday. Probably one of Toni's special pieces. Good luck as you enter that field of blank making.
