Desert Ironwood Atlas Pen
The note on the blank said it was from the Sonoran Desert. I decided not to put the clip on because it would
block a lot of chatoyance that is in the blank. Which the camera does not do justice.

Finished with CA, Micromesh to 12,000, and some Ren Wax.

That diagonal cut looks really nice. I wish I could find a better way to show chatoyance in pictures, too.

I wonder if it's possible to show chatoyance since it's the result of the moving reflectance of light and a photo is a stop image. I suppose technically it should be possible with a video? Just wondering because I too have been disappointed.
