I'd never worked with Katalox before - the local Woodcraft store had a giant bin of mixed hardwoods, so I thought I'd give it a spin. I had an issued with one of the caps and had to re make it - the colors are really close in certain sections. I think they turned out well all things considered. @mmayo - these will be heading your way for folks on the base.
