Aluminum tubing? Did you have to make any kind of insert for the tube so it would go together?

1/2" Aluminum rod from a big box store, drilled and used kit tubes, turned with a roughing gouge on a wood lathe. Sanded to 600 and finished with renaissance wax.

I am a fan of the Groove clicker! Nice solid fill. The kit is a little precise, you can't over-trim the barrels.I am so used to seeing your great wood works, I was expecting Wood!
