This is a fountain pen I made as a donation for a charity fundraiser run by penmaker Jon Tello. I made the pen from black and transparent golden yellow acrylics. The sun is part of the charity's imagery, hence the choice of yellow for the acrylic in the barrel. I made a skeletonized overlay with an engraved floral motif from Argentium silver, and make a cap band and clip to match. I set two citrine gemstones in the clip to bring some of the yellow into the cap and tie it into the barrel, visually. It's a small to average pen, as far as custom pens go, with a 1/2" diameter cap thread, and about 5.25" long when capped. The nib is a jowo 6.

John fantastic work I'm not completely sure how you achieved this but that doesn't matter. It's a Pen to be admired which it has it been. And most importantly it will raise lots of money for charity. I cannot paint like any of the great artists but I can still admire there work and I certainly admire yours, well done keep up the good work.
