This is a PSI Icon pen in chrome. The blank is another homemade one by my friend Dennis. I should have back painted it, it's more translucent than I expected. Still, it doesn't look bad. Lots of glitter!

Jim, it's Dennis. These blanks are turning out great! We'll definitely need to make some more color combos for you.

I got the magnetic pen yesterday. The phots don't do it justice, really cool looking when polished up.

I did one of those in a plainer blue without painting it and it looked pretty bad to my eye. I don't know what I was thinking. The glitter on yours helps a little.

Ink_a_Fink? LOL

Yeah, I'm having fun with your blanks. I trimmed this one smaller before I turned it. Didn't take nearly as long to turn. This pen is actually for Olga. She DEMANDED I make her a slim pen from the glitter blank. When Olga demands, I comply. She's a switchblade carrying KGB agent!

I can't argue that logic haha! I was wondering if if those blanks were too thick, maybe try some thinner ones next time to get a variety.

I actually started a second pen with the leftover portion of the glitter blank. I painted it this time. It will be interesting to see how it turns out compared to the unpainted one.

3/4" diameter would be plenty big enough for most pens. There is a line of acrylic blanks called Rhino, that are 7/8" square. Even those are usually too big.

There are quite a few Rhino blanks. They're brittle, but not as brittle as some.
