This is a USA Click pen in chrome, from Woodturningz. The blank is a SpectraPly called Blue Angel, from Woodcraft. The finish is Mylands friction polish and carnuba wax.

Hi Jim,

The spectraply sure looks nice paired with this kit. I thoroughly enjoy your posts.

I hope things have been going well and you have been able to engage in some rocketry events this summer. I've been spending a lot of time indoors so far as our high temperatures seem to all come with high humidity. It's only supposed to get to 85-degrees today. It is already 75-degrees at 9 am, but with 99% humidity and fog.

I bought a very highly figured piece of Bocote from our Woodcraft store a month or two ago. I know you like Bocote so when I get around to cutting it up into blanks I will send some of them to you.

Best Regards,
Dave

Hey Dave,

No rocket launches because of the drought. The closest club that has been launching is over 3 hours away. Too far for me. And sadly, the local club lost their launchsite again. So their launches are in limbo.

It's been hot here too, over 100 degrees, but no humidity. I really hate summer. I wish it was spring, fall, fall, winter. LOL

I look forward to seeing the bocote, I love that wood.
