I am kind of surprised that I got this right on the first try which is why I didn't embellish this further. I would put something in the maple 'picture frames' the next time that I turn this pattern.

I slapped it on a wallstreet II/III hybrid which is why the segment is aluminum but the finish on the pen is gold.

Bocote, black abs/aluminum/black abs, and a pretty unremarkable piece of curly maple (I really wasn't expecting this to work out).

Finish is CA with Abranet, Zona down to 1 micron, then Novus 3,2,1
