This is a project I'd been planning since picking up (well, trying to pick up) engraving back in September. It is a pocket sized fountain pen with an engraved overlay, clip, and cap band. I used Persian Blue ebonite for the pen, and Argentium silver for the metal parts. It uses a jowo 6 nib, and can be used with a cartridge or filled with an eyedropper.

This is basically how I engrave, although much less skillfully than Mr. Alfano. The dark parts of the engraving were blackened using paint, to give contrast and make the engravings pop.
