This was a fun one to make Had a 6" blank to make a 5.75" pen. Sleeved the body with blue juma to allow me the extra length to get my cap and section threads. Then used the same juma to make my section.

Very nice! Good Fordite samples, too (no n in there, btw, just Ford as in the car company, with -ite attached to it...another term for it is "Detroit Agate" when you get that nice tight agate-like grain you have in your pen there).

I'm curious...did you cast some fordite pieces in your own resin? If so, I'm curious where you found your fordite pieces.

I have cast my own. I bought it from a fb group but can't remember the guys name….

Also it's a habit of adding the "N" because I always think of Fortnite🙄 thanks to my kiddos…
 
Wow, that's a nice combination! I wouldn't have expected fordite to look that good cast like that if someone had just mentioned it without showing any pics. I would have been very wrong, too.
