I recently had a try at making myself a ring using bocote. I quite enjoyed the challenges of something different and might make some more as gifts as a diversion from pens.

What price range do the average rings sell for? I might try it sometime. Always looking for something else to make and sell.

I sell the wood rings for $50, regardless of size. Cultured opals $60.

Good spot... you should do well there. Not going to participate this year... I've been lazy and haven't enough inventory plus schlepping the booth in and out is getting harder every year.... plus I've lost my truck... Ed's living here and uses it for his job... and it's his truck anyway.
