Have you tried any of the pencil replacement refills? Timberbits used to carry them. They worked for a variety of kits (Sierra, Cigar plus a few others IIRC).

Yes, the pencil refill you mentioned is made by Schmidt. It can work with several twist ballpoint. Ti should see one will work with the jr gent ballpoint..
