We went to a hemp expo last week to work the HempWood booth so I had to prep a ton of HempWood pens (and one from a hemp stalk). Here's most of the lineup that I finished. Not pictured are 3 secret compartment keychains.

Only came home with two of the pens and the xacto. Not too bad

Very nice! I really like the crazy figure of the HempWood, and it looks like it really takes up the stabilizing dye very well. I am going to have to get some and try for myself. Thanks for sharing.

Well, I must confess I do not have a clue about hemp wood. But you have turned into some beautiful Pens we'll done.
Is it rope of some sort?
Just love them.

It's an engineered lumber substitute made of hemp fiber. Over the last two years it's become one of my favorite materials to work with. They can go from seeds to lumber in 150 days so the sustainability is off the charts plus it looks dope as heck! On top of that it takes color like a champ

Is it only possible to purchase pre-stabilized/pre-dyed blanks, or can the "raw" hempwood be bought and stabilized/dyed?
