This is a PSI Icon pen in brass. It's the one that uses a Bic Round Stic refill. The wood is macacauba from Woodcraft. This kit has been wildly popular among my friends I've made them for. The finish is Pens Plus.

This is the first I have seen this pen. and yes I can imagine it is popular as it is a style that many are familiar with.
