A couple of (old style) Sierra click pens. Picked up 5 bowling balls from some neat people and offered them a gift instead of cash. A piece of each ball in each pen.
I have had a couple of balls that I think were ebonite-ish. Definitely hard rubber. Most are an acrylic of some sort, some turn easy, some brittle. Most times I start the cutting at work on a 12" capacity horizontal metal saw, then finish on my band saw. These were around 1/2" thick. Some are as thin as 1/4", rare find is 1 1/2". Only found one that thick, so hard to make a complete pen out of one.Neat!
So, basically....ebonite? I am curious.......how did you cut the balls into pieces for blanks?
