This is a Manager fountain pen in gunmetal, from Exotic Blanks. It's my first. I don't usually like non-postable two body pens, but I really like the design of this one. It's simple and clean. The wood is macacauba from Woodcraft. This particular piece is probably the nicest I've turned. Very happy with it. The finish is Pens Plus. Interestingly, the kit came with an ink pump but no cartridge.

This is the chunk of macacauba I started with. I bought a couple of pieces when it was on sale for 40% off.

Very nice, Jim.
That's another of your interesting timbers that I've had to look up as I never heard of it before.
I see that it is regarded as a tone wood though I've never seen it on a musical instrument.

Great looking pen Jim! Nice clean lines and great wood. I've never heard of that wood either...but may have to have a piece.

Hi Jim, very nice looking pen. I always favor postable caps. They at least give the user the option if they want to keep it posted. That is an attractive kit and finish. - Dave
